The state Department of Environmental Management said a black bear has been seen roaming through North Kingstown in recent days, alarming some residents.
In October, Cranston was abuzz with reports that a black bear was roaming through Cranston.
DEM officials said the bear is unlikely to attack humans but said people should never approach it.
If you see the bear, call 401-220-3070.
The bear was last seen in the area of the Gilbert Stuart Homestead.
The question is — is the bear heading back north towards Cranston? If so, you can probably understand why. Cranston has good restaurants.
