The driver of a Ford Mustang crashed into the front of a Reservoir Avenue business early this morning, police said.
WPRI reported that the driver was temporarily stuck in the car, which appears to be a total loss, but got out after he was helped by two women working inside the building.
The car drove through the first floor of St. Jude Home Care, WPRI reported.
The driver was not seriously hurt but was transported to the hospital for leg pain, police said.
The building was not structurally compromised, the building inspector said.
Police said the driver was on his way home from work when he veered off the road around 8:30 a.m.
The crash remains under investigation.
