Confreda Farmers Market had a large assortment of fresh vegetables; summer squash, radishes and zucchini squash to bring home at the Bridge at Cherry Hill on August 11. It's a great time of year — lots of summer vegetables are in season and being harvested right now. It's prime time for canning, jarring and pickling. And you're never going to have salads and grilled vegetable dishes as good as they are now.
Here's what's being harvested right now at Confreda Farms:
  • Sweet bi-color Corn
  • Mirai Corn (super sweet yellow)
  • Silver Queen (white)
  • Basil
  • Beets
  • Broccoli
  • Cucumbers
  • Red Chard
  • White Chard
  • Eggplant
  • Radish
  • Hand-Picked Green Beans
  • Hand-Picked Yellow Beans
  • Kale
  • Peppers
  • Tomatoes: Mrs. C’s favorites!
  • Green Leaf, Red Leaf Lettuce
  • Parsley – curly and plain
  • Romaine
  • Peaches
  • Squash Flowers
  • Yellow Squash
  • Zucchini Squash
