The building at 555 Park Ave. has been demolished after a severe fire Friday night.
The fire, which took firefighters more than two hours to extinguish, started on the third floor and quickly spread throughout the structure.
On Sunday, a crew demolished the building after it was deemed too unsafe to inhabit.
The property is owned by Michael Solomon, a Providence City Council member.
Along with multiple people who lost their home, two business units within the building are gone.
We'll have more details soon.
