From the State House:
Sen. Frank S. Lombardi (D-Dist. 26, Cranston) has been named to the Senate Committee on Judiciary and the Senate Committee on Labor for the 2013-2014 General Assembly session.
The appointment was announced today by President of the Senate M. Teresa Paiva Weed.
The Senate Committee on Judiciary considers legislation and matters which affect the penal code, judicial system, ethics, open meetings, access to public records and election laws.
The Senate Committee on Labor considers legislation relating to the workers’ compensation and labor laws of the state.
Senator Lombardi is beginning his first term as a member of the Senate.
