With a few inches of snow accumulation expected overnight, Cranston Police have activated a parking ban with the intention of keeping roads clear tomorrow morning.
The ban goes into effect at midnight and will last until noon on Sunday.
It has been snowing lightly throughout the day today (Saturday) but there has been little to no accumulation so far. But the National Weather Service is forecasting 2 to 4 inches could pile up overnight.
The snow is expected to last until mid-day tomorrow. The overnight low temperature will be around 20 degrees. Tomorrow's high is a chilly 26.
