Cranston Patch launched in late 2010 — months after the historic floods that ravaged the city in March of that year, so we don't have any coverage of the event for the record books.
Still, flooding has been a persistent problem in the city even without storms of record proportions. This morning, for example, residents along the Pawtuxet and Pocasset rivers are dealing with rising waters after heavy rains, melting snow and frozen soil.
We've posted dozens of articles about flooding in Cranston since our launch along with hundreds of photos. Here's a few of the best pictures we've taken and received from readers.
