Cranston Police have instituted a parking ban that goes into effect this morning and it will last for 24 hours as the city braces for yet another winter storm.
The National Weather Service is forecasting anywhere from 3 to 10 inches of snow for Cranston. The ground was already dusted with a light covering of snow as of 5:45 a.m. and the snow will keep falling until sometime tomorrow.
Today's high temperature is just 33 degrees and wind gusts could get as high as 50 mph.
The wind and wet, heavy snow could cause widespread power outages, so be prepared.
